The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for promoting the highest level of language functioning, motor speech, swallowing, and cognitive skills.
The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates and develops a treatment plan to address:
Understanding and processing language in both written and spoken form
The therapist will work with the client on becoming more functional in their home and community. Compensatory strategies are developed to accommodate challenges. The Speech-Language Pathologist assists with the establishment of interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary goals.
